President’s Day Weekend Events In Greater Houston

HOUSTON, TX — The weekend is here, and some of the top events in the Greater Houston area are kicking off on Friday.
Most don’t know it’s also President’s Day weekend, so some will have more time for fun and interesting events with a long weekend.

Admission is free.Lone Star Cook-Off|La Porte, TX|Friday 5p.m.-midnight| Head on out to he Lomax Rodeo Grounds and partake in some of the best smoked meats and barbecue in Texas.Food Truck Fridays| Richmond/Cinco Ranch|Friday| Grab lunch at the Richmond Central Fire Station 200 Houston Street in Richmond, Texas. SMASH Potato With A Twist Food Truck will be parked at the Richmond Central Fire Station on February 16th from 11 am to 2:00 pm for Food Truck Lunch Friday, and when supper time rolls around, you can get your grub on again at the Cinco Ranch Lake House located at 25202 Springwood Lake Dr. and is open to the public!
